The venue includes a restaurant, café and shop.

Saudi Arabia’s restaurant scene is buzzing. The latest restaurant, café and shop to open is Beit Luz in Jeddah, which has created an Arabic-inspired experience. Located in the Alshati district, it opened in style with local performers and is home to food, drinks and a charming concept store.

Beit Luz means house and almond in Arabic, and the café feels like a shabby chic home away from home. The café is housed in a white building – before you enter, you’ll spot large windows, plant pots and thatched roofs. Lookout for the concept store at the back, which sells accessories and clothing.

The décor draws its inspiration from the historic neighbourhood. The features include bamboo lights, carpets on the wall and hanging plants. The chairs and sofas range from beige to white and include patterned cushions. Plus, there is a countertop, lounge, indoor and outdoor seating.

Beit Luz’s drinks menu spans hot and cold drinks, which include the popular Almond Coffee. The food menu includes international dishes. The bites cover Baked Fries, Chicken Tenders, French Fries and Mozzarella Sticks. The salads range from a Quinoa Salad to Roka Salad. The tacos range from Beef Taco to Chicken Taco.

Plus, there are Italian dishes on the menu. The pasta dishes range from Fettuccine to Spaghetti Bolognese. The pizzas cover Barbecue Pizza, Margarita Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza and Vegetable Pizza.
