The two-time GRAMMY Award winner will take over Jeddah Corniche Circuit’s Main Stage as the Red race levels up its entertainment lineup.
Jeddah is already one of Formula 1’s most electric stops, and the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026 is doubling down on the spectacle. Saudi Motorsport Company (SMC), promoter of the race weekend, has confirmed that Tyla will perform at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix post-qualifying concert at Jeddah Corniche Circuit on Saturday, 18 April 2026.
Tyla’s rise has been fast, loud, and genuinely global, powered by a sound that threads pop and R&B through amapiano’s elastic bounce. Her breakout viral single “Water” rewrote the conversation around African pop on the world stage, reaching the Billboard Hot 100’s top 10 while cementing her as the highest-charting African female solo artist in Billboard Hot 100 history.
Accolades followed at a pace. Tyla won the inaugural GRAMMY Award for Best African Music Performance in 2024 for “Water,” and later secured a second GRAMMY in the same category for “Push 2 Start.”
Her self-titled debut album, TYLA, has kept the momentum rolling, sending a flood of tracks onto Billboard’s U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, with 12 cuts landing simultaneously. Fan favourites like “Truth or Dare” and newer drops such as “Chanel” are likely to anchor her upcoming performance at the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2026.
Beyond the music, Tyla’s live profile has levelled up through major international appearances, including Coachella, MDLBeast Soundstorm and Sole DXB. Expect that same kinetic energy to translate to Jeddah, where the Grand Prix weekend is positioning itself as equal parts motorsport and festival.
On track, 2026 is shaping up to be a pivotal season. Formula 1’s new era of regulations arrives with all-new car and power unit rules designed to reshape the racing, while the grid expands to 11 teams with Cadillac joining the party, and Audi preparing to enter as a works operation from 2026. Meanwhile, McLaren’s Lando Norris heads into the campaign as the reigning World Champion, with Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri among the names chasing him down.
Tyla joins a growing Saudi Arabian Grand Prix concert lineup that already includes Kygo, Pitbull and Shakira. The three-day event runs from Friday 17 April to Sunday 19 April, with the world’s fastest street circuit once again lit by the Red Sea skyline.
