The homegrown UAE favourite is set to open at Penta on Prince Sultan Street, marking its second branch in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s dining scene is about to welcome another regional favourite, as Blu Pizzeriá prepares to open in Jeddah. The popular homegrown concept, known for its wood-fired pizzas and loyal fan base, is set to debut at Penta on Prince Sultan Street. Once it opens, the restaurant will become Blu Pizzeriá’s second outpost in Saudi Arabia and a notable new addition to Jeddah’s fast-growing food scene.
Born in Dubai and inspired by Naples, Blu Pizzeriá has carved out a name for itself through a combination of craftsmanship, quality ingredients and a menu that balances Italian tradition with flavours that resonate across the Middle East. Founded by Emirati entrepreneur Abdelrahman Alteneiji, the concept has built a strong following by offering pizzas that feel both authentic and regionally relevant.

At the heart of the menu are classic combinations that appeal to traditionalists, alongside more inventive creations for those looking to try something different. Signature options include the Burrata, topped with basil and cherry tomatoes, and the Spicy Pepperoni, which combines cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano and fiery salami for a richer, bolder take on a familiar favourite.
For diners seeking something more distinctive, Blu Pizzeriá’s creative side comes through in dishes such as the Short Ribs pizza. Topped with Black Angus short ribs, caramelised onions and a truffle white sauce, it is one of the menu’s more indulgent offerings. Equally memorable is the Musakhan pizza, which takes inspiration from the beloved Levantine dish and layers chicken, cheese and a tangy sour cream sauce over its signature base.

The brand first launched in Jumeirah before expanding to Al Khawaneej, Hidd, Al Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi, Nad Al Sheba, and Marsa Boulevard. It later made its move to Riyadh, while Al Ain and London have also been announced as part of its wider expansion plans.
In December 2025, FACT teamed up with Blu Pizzeriá and powerhouse Emirati talent, Chef Faisal Naser, to launch a limited-edition pizza: the FACT pizza by Chef Faisal. The limited-edition slice drew inspiration from the beloved lahmajun.
A FACT award winner in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, Blu takes risks, plays with regional ingredients, and constantly innovates. While the opening date for Blu Pizzeriá in Jeddah remains under wraps, anticipation is already building for one of the city’s most talked-about restaurant launches.
