The dining scene in the Red Sea city is about to get much tastier.
Jeddah’s restaurant scene is flourishing, with each new opening promising a unique gastronomic experience. From the Parisian charms of Boeuf Sur Le Toit to the Italian treats at Cipriani, there’s something for everyone. And that’s just the beginning. Read on to discover the new Jeddah restaurants that should be on your dining radar in 2026.
Aiku
Aiku is set to open as the first dedicated handroll bar in Saudi Arabia, bringing a focused and intimate take on Japanese cuisine to the Red Sea city. For those unfamiliar with the format, a handroll is a cone-shaped piece of sushi made with crisp nori, warm rice, and fillings ranging from fresh seafood to vegetables and sauces. Unlike cut sushi rolls, handrolls are designed to be eaten immediately after they are made, while the contrast between the crunchy seaweed, soft rice, and fresh filling is still at its best. That sense of immediacy will sit at the heart of Aiku’s concept. The venue is built around the idea that handrolls deserve their own stage, served one by one in a setting that lets guests appreciate the craftsmanship of each piece. The counter-style format also makes the meal feel more personal, encouraging conversation between diners and chefs while creating a social, front-row dining experience.

Boeuf Sur Le Toit
While the location of Boeuf Sur Le Toit in Jeddah has yet to be confirmed, the restaurant plans to open in late 2024. Hailing from Paris, where it’s celebrated for its love for art, culture, and food, the Jeddah outpost is poised to follow suit. Expect your meal to be complemented by live entertainment and impromptu performances. Wood and gold will add a touch of glam to the setting, transforming the restaurant from a fine-dining experience into a music hall. As for the menu, Boeuf Sur Le Toit features French brasserie classics. Expect to see the likes of Canadian Lobster, Charolais Beef Tartare, Scallop Carpaccio, Vitello Tonnato, Creamy Burrata and Beets, Confit Shoulder of Lamb and Salmon Fillet.

Boxooo
Saudi Arabia has hit the headlines for its changing laws for women. Now, the London-based chef Asma Khan is working with Boxooo International to create a culinary concept that supports female entrepreneurs. Boxooo will be a dining destination in Jeddah, with more locations opening across the Kingdom. As one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People, a UN Chef Ambassador and featured chef on Netflix’s Chef’s Table, Asma Khan visited Saudi Arabia to announce Boxooo, which has the tagline “creating a foodie future together”.

Cipriani
Cipriani is an institution. The brand is known worldwide for its Venetian fine dining. The family motto is “to serve is to love”. Now, it is spreading that Cipriani love to Jeddah, and is scheduled to open at Fayfa Avenue in Al Tahlia. We can expect Cipriani Jeddah to feature the brand’s signature nautical colours, from blue sofas to white tablecloths. Plus, the menu prides itself on using simple ingredients to a high-quality standard and offering signature dishes from Harry’s Bar in Venice, including Carpaccio “alla Cipriani”, Calf’s Liver “alla Veneziana” with Fried Polenta, Baked Tagliolini, Risotto “alla Primavera”, and Vanilla Meringue. And because the menu is anchored in Venetian favourites, produce and premium ingredients have been sourced from Italian farms, adding a sense of authenticity.
