The show takes place on 11 November and tickets are available now.

Saudi, you are being spoilt with big-name music acts, as the singing sensation John Legend has announced that he is coming to AlUla. The show takes place at Maraya on 11 November, and tickets are available now.

The hitmaker recently released his latest self-titled album, Legend, which includes collaborations with Rick Ros, JID and Rapsody. He is expected to perform songs from his new and old records, which show off his soulful voice, keys and lyrics. All of MeUsed to Love U and Ordinary People are just some of the hits we hope he performs in AlUla.

Born in Ohio, United States, he was a whizz at school and skipped two grades. He was even offered a place at Harvard University, which he turned down. The singer swapped books for beats. He received critical acclaim for his debut album, Get Lifted, and went onto carve out a successful career spanning two decades. The crowd pleaser is unique in being an EGOT winner, as he has won all the major entertainment awards – the Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards.

John Legend is no stranger to the Middle East. He has performed before at the UAE’s Emirates Jazz Fest in 2018, and a successful show in Coca-Cola Arena Dubai in 2020. He is clearly a fan of the region, as he is also coming to Abu Dhabi for Louvre Abu Dhabi Grand Festival, which runs from 11 to 13 November.

AlUla’s Maraya is a spectacular setting for concerts, as it’s the world’s largest mirrored building, reflecting the desert landscape of Ashar Valley. Previous acts at the concert hall include Alicia Keys, Angham, Guy Manoukian, Souad Massi and Westlife. Plus, the line-up for MDLBeast Soundstorm has been announced and includes Bruno Mars, DJ Khaled and Post Malone.

If you want to watch John Legend in AlUla, tickets start from SAR462. It looks set to be a legendary night.
