Sail away on Aman Resorts’ superyacht in Saudi Arabia

Project Sama’s pioneering vessel will launch in 2026.

Aman Resorts is famous for its luxury resorts around the world. Now, it is launching a new experience in Saudi Arabia. Aman Resorts is collaborating with Cruise Saudi to create the superyacht, Project Sama. Launching in 2026, here’s what to expect from the experience.

On board Project Sama, guests will be able to enjoy privacy and peace. The concept draws inspiration from its name, which means inner peace. Plus, it prides itself on creating an exclusive experience, as it will boast a two to one crew to guest ratio.

As for the vessel itself, Project Sama is a 183-metre superyacht with 50 suites, restaurants, a beach club, a spa and a Japanese-inspired garden. The vessel has some of the most impressive suites in the world, not only are they spacious but they boast private balconies.

So far, we know that the dining options include an all-day restaurant, an international restaurant and a relaxed club and lounge. The beach club will offer direct access to the water at the stern of the yacht. Plus, if you’re travelling in style, there are two helipads.

Project Sama has been designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture and Design. The design will reflect Aman Resort’s eastern roots, and aims to create a tranquil sanctuary.

Fawaz Farooqui, Cruise Saudi’s Managing Director, unveiled the project at the Seatrade Cruise Global event. He explained: “Aman is a truly unique brand. Its authentic intent is to provide a level of service, which is a home away from home, that is peerless in every way.”

Vlad Doronin, Aman CEO, added: “Project Sama will provide transformative experiences within the revered Aman setting and service, which is unlike any other yacht experience, ultimately creating a whole new category in on-the-water discovery.”

The official name for Project Sama has not yet been announced.
