InterContinental Resort Red Sea, SLS Red Sea and The Red Sea EDITION will be located on the island.


Red Sea Global has announced that the first resorts and attractions on Shura Island will soon open to guests. The initial phase of the launch includes the opening of the SLS, EDITION, and InterContinental hotels. Plus, the debut of Shura Links as the Kingdom’s first island golf course.

Guests will be able to arrive either by boat to the island’s marina or by electric vehicle via the stunning 3.3-kilometre crossing, which includes Saudi Arabia’s longest internal bridge.

Shura Island will be home to 11 resorts, set to open over the coming months. Once complete, the island will offer guests access to pristine natural landscapes, five-star amenities, fine dining restaurants, and high-end retail outlets.

SLS The Red Sea seamlessly blends nature with the brand’s distinctive design. The hotel will feature 150 rooms and villas, including beachfront options, complemented by cultural, wellness, and leisure experiences. The Red Sea EDITION combines modern luxury with island serenity, offering 240 rooms, 53 suites, a world-class Ciel Spa, multiple dining destinations, and access to water sports and golf.

InterContinental Resort Red Sea promises a captivating experience for guests seeking a luxurious getaway. With 178 rooms and 32 suites each featuring breathtaking sea views and direct beach access, guests can wake up to the sound of waves and feel the sand between their toes. The resort features an array of amenities, including five dining venues and a design inspired by the surrounding coral reefs. Multiple swimming pools offer refreshing aquatic experiences, while a state-of-the-art spa and health club provide opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The Red Sea EDITION will feature 240 rooms, ranging from one to three bedrooms, offering various accommodation options. In addition, guests can expect to indulge in two restaurants, a bar, a beach club, a pool, and a spa, providing ample opportunities for relaxation, dining, and entertainment.
