From Greece to the Gulf, Nammos’ first-ever Middle East resort pairs private-island dining with the brand’s trademark social buzz.

Saudi Arabia is pulling out all the stops in its development efforts. This is evident across the Kingdom, but more so along the shores of the Red Sea. This coastline has become a playground for hospitality giants featuring the likes of Desert Rock Resort, Six Senses Southern Dunes and The St. Regis Red Sea Resort. But now, Nammos Resort AMAALA is gearing up to open its doors in spring 2026.

Located at Triple Bay, Nammos Resort AMAALA is poised to be a game-changer, offering breathtaking views of the ocean and Hijaz Cove. The property will comprise 110 guest rooms and suites, alongside pool bungalows, villas, and 20 private residences. At the top of the hierarchy sits the Cliff Villa, designed to claim what the brand describes as AMAALA’s most exclusive viewpoint. A private island, a dedicated wellness hub, infinity pools, and the Blu Kids Club round out the core offering, balancing family-friendly touches with grown-up escapism.

Nammos Resort AMAALA blends Mediterranean glamour with the Arabian coast. Designed by Foster + Partners, the resort draws on traditional Hijazi forms, with architecture and layout geared toward privacy without isolation. It is oriented toward the water to maximise Red Sea sunrises and big-sky sunsets.

Wellness comes via Nammos Spa, debuting an exclusive concept called ‘Boundless Wellbeing’, built around the mantra ‘Rest Up, Move Up, Fuel Up, Show Up,’ and powered by a regional-first partnership with Augustinus Bader.

When it comes to dining, you’ll be spoilt for choice. The resort is anchored by the iconic Nammos Restaurant on its own private island, complete with an infinity pool, cabanas, and a private jetty for boat arrivals. Two further venues broaden the options: Nalu, which brings Latin American flavours with Asian influences, and Ilios, a refined Mediterranean restaurant and bar featuring visiting chefs and pop-ups.

Beyond the resort, guests can plug into AMAALA’s wider ecosystem, from the Yacht Club to the Corallium Marine Life Institute, with sustainability positioned as built-in infrastructure. Once complete, the destination is expected to operate with a zero-carbon footprint powered by 100% renewable energy.

Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, said: “For years, the global ultra-luxury landscape has been divided into two worlds: the social energy of the world’s most sought-after lifestyle destinationsand the silent isolation of the resort. At Nammos Resort AMAALA, those worlds collide. We are bringing our signature social connection into a destination built on regenerative luxury, creating a rhythm that the region has never seen before.”

This property marks Nammos Hotels & Resorts’ first hotel outside Greece, making the Saudi Arabian outpost its international debut. It’s also one of eight resorts opening in the first phase of AMAALA’s Triple Bay masterplan.

So if you’re dreaming of your next escape, Nammos Resort AMAALA might just be your next ideal getaway.
