Red Sea Global expands its leisure line-up with ADRENA, a new all-ages destination near Shura Island that opens to the public on 1 March.
Red Sea Global has been steadily building out The Red Sea and AMAALA as more than just beach escapes, adding experiences designed to keep travellers on-site from morning through late night. The latest addition is ADRENA, an adventure and entertainment destination poised to become a key draw for visitors exploring Saudi Arabia’s west coast.
Located a short drive from Shura Island, ADRENA is currently in soft launch, with a full public opening confirmed for 1 March 2026. Set within the region’s natural landscapes, the venue combines high-energy activities with laidback ways to spend the day by the water, making it a strong option for families, friend groups, and adrenaline seekers alike.
On the activity front, ADRENA packs in a broad mix of water and land-based offerings. Expect a wakeboarding lake, snorkel trails, a deep diving pool, plus a skatepark and BMX pump track for anyone who prefers wheels to waves. There is also an infinity pool, alongside crowd-pleasers like an overwater zip line and a 10-metre-high slip-and-fly slide for those keen on a more daring drop.
Younger visitors are not left out, with a dedicated water play area and a floating inflatable obstacle course. Thanks to beach access, guests can also tap into classic shoreline staples, including beach football and volleyball, adding to the day-out feel.
Inclusivity is also part of the brief. ADRENA plans zero-depth entry at many of its pools and accessible options across activities such as bodyboarding, paddleboarding, diving, and snorkelling, helping more guests get in on the action.
When the sun goes down, the energy shifts rather than stops. An on-site beach club brings the soundtrack with a live DJ, alongside South American cuisine served into the night. Still, the headline act is the saltwater surf pool. Stretching 215 metres in length, it is set to become the largest in Saudi Arabia, with waves reaching over two metres once fully open.
