Ukraine’s DJ Korolva to headline techno music festival Glitch in Riyadh

The line-up includes Saudi Arabia’s Cosmicat, Dish Dash and RDJ. 

Dance music fans, this one’s for you. Glitch, the house meets techno music festival, is coming to Riyadh. Taking place in Al Amaaria Village on 8 June from 6pm to 4am, it brings together local and international names, and will be headlined by Ukrainian DJ Korolva.

Glitch in Riyadh was founded in Saudi Arabia. The music festival aims to shine a spotlight on the underground music scene, and hosts events that connect the community with local talent. Running for more than three years, it has also been held in Dubai, Maldives, and Tulum.

DJ Korolva hails from Kyiv, Ukraine. In one year, she has played more than 100 shows in 50 countries. She has more than 10 million Spotify streams, and 50 million views on YouTube. Her live streams on YouTube have been held in Chicago, Miami and New York, and have a dedicated following. Plus, she has released tracks on the labels AFTR:HRS, Armada and Get Physical Music. 

Glitch in Riyadh’s line-up also includes Saudi acts: Cosmicat, Darko Delix, Dish Dash and RDJ. Cosmicat, real name Nouf Sufyani, was born and raised in Jeddah. She is a pioneer as one of the first Saudi female DJs and producers. She originally trained as a dentist, but later swapped the drills for decks. 

Dish Dash are one of the region’s most famous DJs. Hailing from Saudi Arabia, the duo is made up of the brothers Hassan and Abbas Ghazzawi. The pair are known for their techno beats and have performed around the world including Abu Dhabi, Bahrain and London. 

Darko Delix are a DJ duo, and they have previously played at the Glitch festival and beyond. RDJ is a DJ, Producer and Creative Director. He is the founder of Xclusive Entertainment, which is behind Glitch music festival.
