The venue will also be opening soon at the Lumiére Centre.
The taste of Paris is coming to Riyadh. The artisanal pastry company, Lenôtre Paris, has opened in Laysen Valley and will be opening in Lumiére Centre. If you’d like to indulge in pretty pastries from Paris’ greats, here’s what you need to know.
Lenôtre Paris prides itself on being committed, inspired, generous and unique. In 1957, the concept was created by Gaston and Colette Lenôtre. They were passionate about French gastronomy and opened their first venue in Bois de Boulogne, near Normandy. In 1971, it expanded and opened the Lenôtre school in Plaisir, Yvelines. In 2021, it opened The New School of Culinary Arts in Rungis.
Today, the brand can be found around the world, from Berlin to China. Lenôtre Paris Riyadh marks its debut in Saudi Arabia and gives people in the Kingdom the chance to sample the best of France’s pastries. The menu spans sweet and savoury creations. Pastries include éclairs, flans, meringues, and millefeuilles. Mains span quiches, salads and sandwiches. Plus, the creations all come in a range of flavours.
The Laysen Valley location is an upscale spot with a sleek look. Lenôtre Paris Riyadh boasts a black and white design, punctuated by gold accents. The space features beautiful lighting, floor-to-ceiling windows, and white tables with beige seating. At the counter, you can take your pick from pastries. Plus, every Wednesday and Friday from 8pm to 11pm, there is live music at the venue.
Laysen Valley is fast becoming a dining destination known for its upscale ambience and world-class restaurants. Among the highlights is Bagatelle, where the lively charm of the French Riviera meets elegant dining. For lovers of modern Japanese cuisine, White Robata offers a bold fusion of Japanese influences, featuring robata-grilled dishes, wagyu sliders, and sushi in a contemporary setting.
