Banyan Tree Tuwaiq marks the brand’s second hotel in the kingdom.
Banyan Tree is famous for its luxurious wellness retreats, which reconnect travellers with the natural world. The brand made its debut in Saudi Arabia with Banyan Tree AlUla, and it has now announced that it is expanding in the kingdom and across the world.
Banyan Tree Tuwaiq is scheduled to open, and it will mark the company’s second hotel in the country. Banyan Tree AlUla is located between the soaring canyons, and boasts Insta-worthy views as well as wellness-inspired experiences. We’re expecting Banyan Tree Tuwaiq to be just as serene and spectacular.
Banyan Tree was established in 1994, and has 60 hotels in 17 countries, and 47 new properties in the pipeline. The portfolio includes hotels, resorts, spas, galleries, golf and residences. The brands include Angsana, Cassia, Dhawa, Laguna, and the recently launched Escape, Homm, Garrya, Folio and Escape.
Eddy See, President and Chief Executive Officer with Banyan Tree Group, explained: “At the end of 2021, we stated an ambitious goal to double our global footprint, a target that we are well on track to achieving thanks to a combination of favourable market conditions amid resurgent tourism and our strong portfolio of brands that match consumer trends in destinations as diverse as China and Spain. Our development pipeline to 2025 will deliver 50 new hotel openings or conversions, bringing the Group’s global portfolio to 113 hotels.”
