This year’s prize pool is bigger than ever before.

Gaming has officially gone global — and it’s no longer just a pastime. As esports continues to rise alongside traditional sports, the Esports World Cup returns for its 2025 edition, promising its biggest event yet.

Bringing the best gaming together under one roof at Boulevard City in Riyadh, from 7 July to 24 August, the Esports World Cup 2025 is set to be the largest competitive gaming event in history, backed by a record-breaking prize pool of over SAR 262 million (around $70 million). Out of this, SAR 101 million will be awarded to the Club Championship. Another SAR 142 million will go to the winners of individual game tournaments. The remaining amount will be divided among the various winners.

Beyond the tournaments, the event will host the New Global Sport Conference, bringing together leaders from esports, gaming, tech, and entertainment to explore the future of the industry. Expect live entertainment, family activities, and a festival atmosphere throughout Boulevard City. Live entertainment, much like last year, is also on the agenda.
