The concept from Beirut and Paris is coming to the capital.
Saudi Arabia is fast becoming a dining destination, home to restaurants from celebrity chefs to local entrepreneurs. Now, it is set to welcome Liza, a culinary concept that has already proven popular in Beirut and Paris. The Kingdom’s MJS Holdings is behind the opening of Liza in Bujairi Terrace, and here’s what to expect.
Founded by Liza and Ziad Asseily, the venue has been conceived as more than a restaurant concept. It brings together food, music, design and social interaction, shaped around shared meals and hosting traditions.
Liza specialises in Lebanese food and offers a long list of meze dishes. The meze includes Artichokes, Falafel, Fattoush, Hummus with Tahini, and Tabbouleh. The desserts include Baklava with Liban, Ice Cream and Sorbet, and Ma’amoul Crumble with Dates.
Liza’s locations in Beirut and Paris include star-shaped chandeliers, rattan chairs and floor-to-ceiling windows. Plus, it is a hip hangout and welcomes artists and DJs in the evenings. Liza can be found on Rue de la Banque in Paris and is open for brunch, lunch, and dinner. The venue boasts indoor and outdoor seating. The décor feels like a Vincent Van Gogh painting come to life, with a wall mural of flowers and floral patterns on the cushions.

Liza Asseily, Co-Founder of Liza, shared: “No matter the city, Liza is always about welcoming people as if they were coming into our own home.”
MJS Holding’s brands include the FACT award-winning AOK Kitchen, Il Baretto, Jon & Vinny’s and Zuma. The hospitality group also announced that it is bringing the restaurants BeauCoCo, Gina, Il Bambini Club, and Perruche to Saudi Arabia. Plus, it will be opening Arcade Food Hall on the rooftop of Solitaire Mall, which can already be found in London’s Tottenham Court Road and Battersea.
