Saudi Arabia has several exciting projects in the works. One of the most anticipated attractions is the Kingdom’s first-ever waterpark, AquArabia, which is expected to open in April and will feature Saudi Arabia’s first-ever surf pool.
AquArabia is located in Qiddiya City, just outside of Riyadh. Covering 250,000 square meters, it will be the largest waterpark in the Middle East. With 22 rides, including four record-breakers, Aquarabia will be the only water park in the world to offer a mix of dry and wet rides.
Aquarabia will feature four record-breaking attractions, including Junoon Drop, the world’s tallest and longest water coaster; Speedy Jamezales, the tallest drop body slide; Slithereel, the world’s longest-rotating slide wheel; and Jamal Joom, the world’s longest mat racer. Aquarabia will also feature the first underwater adventure ride featuring fully submersible cars. Spread across eight themed zones, here are all the rides you can try.
Amwaj Bay
Ride the waves at Amwaj Bay — AquArabia’s wave pool. Offering a calm setting, along with a DJ, this is where you keep the energy up.
Aquaticar Legend of the Glowing Guardians
Take an underwater journey in your own submarine or Aquaticar. As part of this ride, you’ll discover a mythical lost city full of surprises on a 4.5-minute adventure in which the submersible cars reach a depth of 2.7 meters.
Camel Racers
This high-speed inner tube race challenges you with sharp turns, sudden bursts of colour, and twists before a final sprint to the finish. Spanning 315 meters, this attraction is longer than five blue whales lined up head to tail.
Camel Rock Interactives

Hyper Viper

Junoon Drop
Junoon Drop is the world’s tallest and longest water coaster, featuring a 12-storey plunge, uphill blasts, mega drops, and a twisting flume with AquaLucent stripes. The slide is 515 meters long and reaches a height of 42 meters, but its grand finale is a 180-degree turn that will leave you screaming for more.
KayaXtreme

Surftopia
Surf’s up at Surftopia, the Kingdom’s first-ever surf pool, which is located inside AquArabia waterpark in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s first surf pool features customisable waves for skill levels ranging from beginners to pros. The pool is 6,543 sqm, which is roughly the size of a football field, with waves reaching heights of two meters. It’s the perfect place to learn and ride the surf. Non-surfers can relax on the beachfront and enjoy the show.
Tahaddi Viper
This high-speed slide features dramatic drops, tight coils, and thrilling turns. Feel the rush as you navigate the Master Blaster and Constrictor, with bursts of colour and exhilarating speeds culminating in an exciting finale. The slide is 227 meters long and features a drop from the same height as a five-story building.
The Lazy Camel
Float through scenic landscapes on The Lazy Camel. This water ride takes you around the park’s Viper Canyon zone and showcases the rugged beauty of the Tuwaiq Mountains as you float along.
Wadi Tahaddi
For a group challenge, Wadi Tahaddi sends six riders through an intense 600-meter white-water rafting course with steep climbs, spirals, and two massive 360-degree turns—it’s one fun ride.
