Saudi Arabia has several exciting projects in the works. One of the most anticipated attractions is the Kingdom’s first-ever waterpark, AquArabia, which is expected to open in April and will feature Saudi Arabia’s first-ever surf pool.

AquArabia is located in Qiddiya City, just outside of Riyadh. Covering 250,000 square meters, it will be the largest waterpark in the Middle East. With 22 rides, including four record-breakers, Aquarabia will be the only water park in the world to offer a mix of dry and wet rides.

Aquarabia will feature four record-breaking attractions, including Junoon Drop, the world’s tallest and longest water coaster; Speedy Jamezales, the tallest drop body slide; Slithereel, the world’s longest-rotating slide wheel; and Jamal Joom, the world’s longest mat racer. Aquarabia will also feature the first underwater adventure ride featuring fully submersible cars. Spread across eight themed zones, here are all the rides you can try.

Ride the waves at Amwaj Bay — AquArabia’s wave pool. Offering a calm setting, along with a DJ, this is where you keep the energy up.

Take an underwater journey in your own submarine or Aquaticar. As part of this ride, you’ll discover a mythical lost city full of surprises on a 4.5-minute adventure in which the submersible cars reach a depth of 2.7 meters.

Surf’s up at Surftopia, the Kingdom’s first-ever surf pool, which is located inside AquArabia waterpark in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s first surf pool features customisable waves for skill levels ranging from beginners to pros. The pool is 6,543 sqm, which is roughly the size of a football field, with waves reaching heights of two meters. It’s the perfect place to learn and ride the surf.
