Smell the roses at the record-breaking event.
Get your cameras ready. One of the world’s most beautiful festivals is returning to Saudi Arabia. Yanbu Flower Festival runs until 23 April 2026. So, if you’re after some family-friendly fun, here’s how to join the event.
Yanbu Flower Festival is a record-breaking event. The festival was awarded a Guinness World Record for the world’s largest flower carpet. During the festival, there are a range of programmes and workshops which teach visitors about gardening. Experts are on hand to answer questions about the displays and share their knowledge about horticulture.
This year’s edition looks set to be another record-breaking event. Previous editions have included the largest flower basket in the world, and the largest display of flowers writing a word. The word paid homage to the Kingdom’s royal family and was the name of King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The festival will host 100 events, including family-friendly options. Children’s activities include exhibitions, face painting, and storytelling. Train rides will take people across the site, and food and drink stalls will also be available.
The festival includes several interactive and entertainment zones, such as the Bird Garden, Flower Hills, Flower Village, Flower Volcano, Shell and Wave Hills, the Boulevard Area, the Lake and Restaurants Zone, Illuminated Flowers, and Nature Walkways.
Additionally, the festival features the “Around the World” zone, offering a cultural experience inspired by global flower gardens, alongside artistic performances, cultural shows, and live theatre that enrich the visitor experience.

Yanbu is located in the Madinah province, near the Red Sea coast. The area is 300 kilometres northwest of Jeddah and is a major Red Sea port. During February, March and April, the climate is milder, making it an ideal time to visit and to attend the Yanbu Flower Festival.
Yanbu Flower Festival is open daily from 4pm to 11pm.
