The classy venue serves seafood, salads and more.
Are you a fan of Mediterranean cuisine? Well, you’ll be thrilled to hear about the new restaurant, Tapas in Jeddah, which has opened in Babylon Plaza. It serves fine dining Mediterranean fusion cuisine and is a sophisticated spot for lunch and dinner.
Tapas in Jeddah is located on Sari Road. When you enter the restaurant, you’ll be struck by the dramatic entrance. The front door boasts several-storey high, floor-to-ceiling windows and is framed by large potted plants. Lookout for the shiny gold logo emblazoned on the wall, which dazzles beautifully in the light.
Whether you’re sitting indoors or outdoors, you’ll be impressed by the chic, clean surroundings. The monochrome aesthetic creates a timeless look. The cream, beige and white colour scheme spans the chairs, sofas, tables and walls. The space is punctuated by black accents across the armrests, table legs and window rims. Plus, the potted plants add gorgeous greenery, and the gold cutlery adds a touch of class.
Tapas in Jeddah’s menu draws inspiration from the Mediterranean, and the dishes exude Italian, Spanish and Greek influences. We’re expecting, as the name suggests, terrific tapas. The fine dining dishes also cover meat, salads, seafood, pastas and pizzas. The pizzas have been created specially from the wood fire oven.
Jeddah is fast becoming a dining destination and has welcomed an exciting range of new restaurants. Beauti Artisanal Café opened in Red Sea Mall, Bocu is a decadent dessert spot, and Di Lava Café looks like it could be in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Plus, EL&N London already has the Insta-crowd double tapping.
Tapas in Jeddah is Saturday to Wednesday from 5pm to 1pm and Thursday to Saturday from 5pm to 2am. It’s time for tapas.
