The Kerala-born, Houston-raised rapper will close the Asia leg of his OTW Tour in Singapore.

Singapore’s live music calendar is showing no signs of slowing down, and now another major name has joined the lineup. Hanumankind is set to perform in the Lion City on Wednesday, 13 May, marking his first-ever show in Singapore. The concert will take place at Singapore Foochow Association’s Foochow Building, the final stop on the Asia leg of his OTW Tour.

Rather than opting for an arena-sized setting, Hanumankind is heading for a more compact room, and that feels entirely in keeping with his sound. Foochow Building has built a reputation for underground gigs and high-energy live performances, making it a fitting backdrop for an artist whose music thrives on intensity, momentum and crowd connection.

For those unfamiliar, Hanumankind is the stage name of Sooraj Cherukat, a rapper and songwriter born in Kerala and raised in Houston. That duality runs through his music, which pulls from Southern hip-hop while weaving in South Asian influences. He first arrived on the scene in 2019 with Daily Dose from his debut EP Kalari, but it was 2024’s “Big Dawgs” that pushed him onto the global stage. The track quickly gained international traction and later received a remix featuring A$AP Rocky.

Since then, Hanumankind’s rise has been swift. He went on to release his debut mixtape Monsoon Season in 2025, a project that further sharpened his identity as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary hip-hop. With a growing international audience and a live reputation built on pure force, his Singapore debut looks set to be one of the city’s most exciting rap bookings of the season.

Fans hoping to catch the show should move quickly. Pre-sale registration is already available through the official event page, with tickets set to be released on 20 March.
