The programme includes 29 official sports alongside four traditional competitions: falconry, camel racing, dhow sailing, and endurance horse racing. Sporting events span a wide range of disciplines, including cycling, basketball, judo, tennis, rugby, swimming, and more.

Unlike traditional elite competitions, the Open Masters Games are inclusive and non-qualifying. Registration fees are AED 275 for UAE residents and AED 550 for international participants. Notably, 90 per cent of the fee will be credited towards hotels, meals, and exclusive Abu Dhabi experiences upon check-in at the Athlete Welcome Centre. Registration is now open and will close on 31 December. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this global celebration of sport.
Athletes can register via the official website. The site includes an entry package that includes access to all selected sports, transport between venues, welcome kits and merchandise, and entry to social and cultural events.
